No one prosecutes dealers in sf or LA
@Scott_Wiener. You know@chesaboudin@SFDAOffice isn’t prosecuting them. Wtf is going to happen on the streets. We just going to see people doing the ketamine walk all the time. Why does any human being need to take a horse tranquilizer?3 replies 2 retweets 8 likes -

Because when used properly under qualified supervision, it is SAVING LIVES. Ketamine is the greatest advance in the Treatment of depression in the last century. THAT is why.

I think the depression thing is actually open to debate in re the studies. But also, Ketamine is approved if administered by a doctor. This bill makes it so it’s legal so any form of medical supervision

No. i don't think the debate is open as to whether it is beneficial or not...it IS. The problem is how much, in what manner applied, and who is gonna pay for the studies to figure this out. This is a drug that no one can make any money from. THAT is the problem.

Even if that’s the case, it still doesn’t answer my question, which is why someone needs to be on K outside of a medically approved use? It is and has been legal as an anesthetic and for therapeutic purposes. This bill legalizes it for every day use for anyone 21+

I'm in 100% agreement with you...it should NOT be available to anyone WITHOUT medical supervision.
