That one looks fine on my end. Since the pixels line up with the 8x8 jpeg blocks, it seems to do a decent job of surviving compression.
What if you use an 8 x 8 jumbo pixel? Only one DCT coefficient per cell? Times the number of colors you have? Will twitter re-jpg images?
