It's an Intel flash image and it seems that it's signed and bios verification is enabled. Means that no bios modifications are allowed unless you own the private key to sign it
Well, that's no fun... Do you know where I could read more about how it's signed etc.?
This has happened to me in the past also. Do you know why a bios or bootloader would checksum a bitmap logo though?
If I had to guess the checksum is for the whole image rather than just the bitmap to ensure no modifications are made at all ? Could be wrong though
