Could be power glitching too - there might be some FETs on the end of that lower ribbon cable, which connects up to the caps next to the soc.

Based on this, the clock connections might just be for timing and/or slowing down the clock.

Looks like a power glitch. I wonder who made this for them, thats not common stuff for team xecuter - they usually steal.

Yeah I take back what I said about clock glitching, I hadn't spotted the FETs at that point.
