It would have to be quite a powerful and precise laser to get the exact same color in a 24 bit spectrum across 12 million pixels in a modern CMOS. Ablation rates in lasers cause variability in wavelength as well.

Generally, a decent entropy source that is secure against adversaries who can change the source itself, should detect this. How you do that? Well. Most whitening algos freak out if the input is 1111 or 0000. They should freak and bork.
