There’s a LARGE retailer in the northern burbs with plate readers at their entrances of their parking lot which I suspect does a great job of keeping loss prevention to a minimum and the prices pretty awesome. But you wouldn’t know it unless you paid attention to what they are.

Yes: it's *just* the EICAR string, not a call to display or run it via any app. It's for devices that collect such data en masse.
