I'm having a lot of fun hacking this ancient Windows CE PDA. The bootrom, kernel, framebuffer, and anything else you might want are just... mapped into userspace.pic.twitter.com/RRoFCrU5v4
It's windows, no X11 here :P I'm writing pixels directly to the framebuffer (which is somewhere in kernel memory!)

Sorry I just mixed frame buffer with X11 for a second
And the frame buffer kernel memory is mapped into user land? Thanks nuts
