Internet humour me, if wanted to make rainbow tables of an MD5(value); where value is (256**47)*(256**16) possibilities (63 bytes of value stored with MD5 hash) - how much storage space would I need? Is it even a measurable number? because that's what Assange would have had todo.

For cracking an individual hash, you don't actually need to *store* the table, right? (I'm not familiar with NTLM) But yeah, those are like, age of the universe numbers (and then some), I think you'd find a collision long before you found the original password.
