I've just been told that many Segway products have artificial speed limits enforced through software. Some are charging big bucks for a crack. I just took a peek inside their app (which updates the fw), and I'm seeing a whitebox AES implementation

Just pulled out one of the whitebox keys. No idea what it's actually used for yet...

Not really sure what the whitebox was doing other than security theatre, since the decryption function is just in a shared lib that anyone can call into...
