It's repeated application could arise from using hash_range, which is declared as inline.
I was just starting to wonder if it's actually a hash routine... it's called from more places than I'd expect a core encryption round to be called from.
I looked over it and it is the QT hash function used in QHash (their hashtable implementation). The actual file encryption routine is located in 0x422A70. Crypto++ AES is being used. Key looks hardcoded. Enjoy :)
