And you are making me type it on the screen everytime I want to send any transaction? What if there are several HD spy cameras in my hotel?

Yes. HD spy cameras won’t see anything because the Bitfi device has a screen material with a very narrow viewing angle. So the camera would have to be literally facing it. Otherwise from any other angle nothing can be seen. We thought this through.

what if a camera tracks your finger positioning as you type?

But you have to type so much that it won’t be able to figure it out. It’s not like other wallets where you type a 6 digit pin. Also, we are not perfect and still working on additional features that will make even these types of events impossible.

Dude you type the full friggin password into it every time you use it. The pincodes on the competitors devices are useless without the device itself. You can steal someones funds just by looking at what they type. With the competitors you need the pincode AND steal the device.

Hi David, what two factor authentication are you talking about? With a Ledger for example you just type in a 6 digit code and you are in the wallet. Thats all thats needed. So what exactly do you mean?

As
@brutesque explained, to sign a transaction with Ledger you need to have both the specific Ledger hardware for the wallet and the PIN code - two factors. With@bitfi6 you need only the passphrase which you can then use with the "open source" KDF - you don't need the hardware.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Lose paper back-up & all your funds are gone. & if the hardware is stolen, your money will be stolen too. With Bitfi, its a beautiful thing that if device is stolen all your money is still completely safe in your brain.

You can literally flush your Bitfi device down the toilet and all your money is safe for life.

What if your webcam is hacked and records you entering your passphrase? This is a single point of failure.
