You might have seen the @officialmcafee's claims that @bitfi6's wallet is unhackable. They even put down a bounty. But it's a sham. If they really believed in their product, they would change the terms. https://cybergibbons.com/security-2/the-bitfi-hardware-wallet-isnt-unhackable/ …pic.twitter.com/XVV5aX2UoZ

So they won't pay out for real world attacks like installing software on to capture keystrokes? What a shitty way to stack the desk for marketing what is basically a password database installed on an old phone.

Assuming you could do it, which we don’t think is possible, how long will it take you to install keystroke capturing software?

Why don't you think it's possible to install a keylogger? BitFi is much more susceptible to these sorts of attacks than other hardware wallets, due to the fact that it has a wifi connection...

David also, Bitfi is much less susceptible to these attacks than others wallets. We understand that the tech is new and may be hard to understand at first.

My feeble mind clearly isn't able to comprehend bitfi's greatness. Please elaborate on how network connectivity makes remote keylogging harder to achieve? Do you have any technical points to make here?

Nope. Other wallets interact with your computer which could be full of malware. By having direct transmission to blockchain you eliminate these threats. Finally, once software is modify the device won’t sync and user won’t be promted to enter their phrase

Can you tell us what prevents an interposer being fitted between the SoC in the device and the screen and digitiser?

And that it is running on a device with no tamper evidence, SoC of unknown provenance, with closed source firmware, without reproducible builds, that you have no oversight over authenticity of. And it connects to WiFi. What could go wrong?
