You can get mad at whatever you want, but I’ll spend my time focused on what causes the conditions that makes someone want to shoplift.

Cool, please post your home address so anyone can help themselves to your possessions. It’s only fair, because Jeff Bezos is rich.

At what point does it become ethical to steal then? When they've earned their first mil? Or, simply when someone has more than I do? What about about when someone has more than they *need*...is it ethical then?

Is it ok to steal from Target, but not a Mom & Pop? What about a Mom & Pop that refuses to bake cakes for gays...is that ok? Is it ok to steal from companies that are super woke, and donate to PP & BLM? Gotta love these sliding scale ethics.

You have to be really disingenuous to say there is no difference between robbing a house and shoplifting from target

Ok, im sorry if i misrepresented your argument. I think there are some situations when theft is justified. I think the reason behind theft is the main point we should be looking at, just like any other crime should be analyzed that way.

Well, alright then. I am certain I can find times when theft is condoned (I still wouldnt say justified), and I am also certain that my list is much more narrow than yours. But at least we're not talking past each other. I appreciate the apology.

It would be preferable if they didn't need to steal at all, but that can only be achieved by eliminating the systems in place that force them into those positions. These are circumstances of late stage capitalism.

There is no point blaming the individual for the failures of the system
