Personally, I use twist-ties. Can easily get neat bunching without damage, and easy to remove.

Don't do that to anything you want to run at high speed. The zipties crush the cable and ruin your throughput.

yes, use wax string, eliminates the strain that would be caused by zip ties. search for kansas city stitch

Please no, use Velcro. Easier to remove if necessary to add/remove wiring and doesn't get all nasty melty if near a hot exhaust fan.
