That feeling of wiping the dust and fuzz off three dozen twenty-year-old audio cassettes.

Tidying... always tidying....

Most jigsaw puzzle pieces are made of cardboard. But some are made of time.

Mainly because certain databases list shows only by date, cast, and running time, not by episode number and content.

Most early Says You! episodes were 29:00 long. But some were 28:59. What a difference one second made. Truly.

As always, Caltech's mechanical and civil engineering students impress and astound with their custom-built robots.

Or a university will send a box of dusty archival cassettes from someone's long-ago audio Americana project.

Or perhaps someone at a radio station will run across a box of old CDs or DATs with dates scribbled on them.

Sometimes, a listener will remember hearing a particular episode on a particular date.

Any information (anecdotal or documented) about pre-2009 Says You! episode air dates would be most welcome.

There are still a few gaps in the Says You! archives: for example, the air dates of some episodes in the show's first ten years.

Seems like there's always more.

New old shows on Says You! this weekend.

Saluting those who are brave enough to give honest feedback.

Thank goodness for twenty-year-old metadata -- and for those who turn out to have preserved it.

And then the one (now) extra piece left over... completes a completely different puzzle.

And you complete it.

That feeling when you realize that those two puzzles you've never been able to complete are actually the two halves of one puzzle.
