@MercedesBenzUK My new GLC 250 Chrome trim is blotchy & faded. Mercedes told me this isn’t covered by warranty & Mercedes must be washed with pure water ONLY, no detergent-is that correct?
Is this an official recommendation? Can your vehicles not withstand standard car detergent?

I have, but I’m yet to hear back. I think it’s ridiculous that a car with 3k miles is having this issue and Mercedes won’t take responsibility. Then you go against your own advice and use non-Mercedes detergent on my car!!!
