@DaveVoyles I tend to just muddle through and search for functions on the internet when I need to do something in PHP
Any back end web devs out there? Where is a great place to start, when learning about it? PHP, ASP, IIS, etc? so different from front end.

@The_Bard_sRc so much of this is over my head. I guess because there is so much to know

@DaveVoyles PHP was fairly easy to learn (for me). Much easier than ASP/IIS etc. It's a good stepping stone. -
@DaliDimovski I'll look into that. I need a high-level overview of many of these technologies

@DaveVoyles I think http://www.w3schools.com is a really good place to start for PHP and SQL. I can't recall how good their ASP stuff is. -
@The_Rabbit42 Good for very high-level stuff? I just need an understanding of how they do (or don't) work together - Show replies

@DaveVoyles PHP is my core. What are you looking to do? Just high level overview? -
@NickPuleo Yup. I know very little about back end, so I guess learning about key differences / similarities - Show replies
