In Unity: How often do you guys use "Tag", when parsing for objects? Is there a perf hit?
@Fortress_Craft So set references in Awake? Otherwise I'd imagine it would come to a crawl after a while

@DaveVoyles You shouldn't really be Start(0 or Awake() much in game anyways; a string search then won't impact much.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@DaveVoyles Just avoid dozens of them every frame! Even more so on mobile -
@Fortress_Craft got it, thanks. I guess that could be an issue when searching for multiple targets (missiles, ray traces)
