@DaveVoyles full teams isn't common from what I understand. most AAA studios in my area either contract or have 1-2 full time people
Are there any AAA studios that have dedicated sound teams? (i.e. the Konami club in the 90's and today). Full time staff for that studio

@DaveVoyles at Vigil we had 3 full time sound guys but I guess it depends on what breadth of sound design you mean. -
@cheeseplus That's true. SFX could be an entire thing of it's own. Konami tends to keep the same few people, use them over and over
