    Also, why would Valve bother to manufacture hardware for another platform when they have an absolute stranglehold on PC gaming?

        @DaveVoyles Steal marketshare from consoles. And even if it only prompts other PC makers release their own "Steamboxes" it helps them.

        @DaveVoyles building for another OS is annoying, but Valve's fear is that Windows will push them out of the Win OS market in a few years
