@DaveVoyles I think you're over thinking it. Just draw a spritebatch rectangle on the outer 10%. Peer review is pretty lax too. -

@DaveVoyles For your pong game, make sure your paddles are positioned, say, 15% away from the sides. Exact cutoff doesn't matter then. -
