Does initial price point determine total achievement points on #XBLA? Wondering why some XBLA titles have 400 and others 200?

@x35mm No. 400 was just added from Summer of XBLA, and on. Those were the first titles to allow it.

@DaveVoyles @x35mm I think old games are allowed to retroactively add stuff though.

@SimonDarksideJ @DaveVoyles @x35mm Um, I meant old XBLAs can add 200 points worth of achievements if they so wish.

@IndieGamerChick @DaveVoyles @x35mm gotcha, in that case still definitely, adds value and keeps you playing, no dif than DLC

@SimonDarksideJ @DaveVoyles @x35mm Except that adding points requires a patch, and Microsoft's prices for devs to patch are extortion.

@IndieGamerChick @SimonDarksideJ @x35mm Well if you have to patch anyway, it's not a bad added incentive

@DaveVoyles @SimonDarksideJ @x35mm But for a game that's been out 4 years and is done making money, 25K or more to add achievements is BS.

@IndieGamerChick @SimonDarksideJ @x35mm Right, but no one is making any company do that. It's not feasible for most
