@MaximinusGames @benkane AddAsLink? I'll commonly edit a file, save to desktop, then drag into my VS project. There is an alternative?

@DaveVoyles If you edit the file that's in your VS directory, you just need to re-build and re-run your game. -
@benkane Oh rebuild, yeah that's what I've been failing to do - Show replies

@DaveVoyles Or you can keep the file wherever you want and use AddAsLink when adding it in VS studio (then VS won't make a copy). -
@benkane the addaslink scares me though, because I'm constantly reorganizing my PC. Rather keep all assets in 1 directory

@DaveVoyles My "solution" is incredibly overkill and just allows me to skip the "re-build and re-run" step. -
@benkane Is it possible to share the code? Or is it hush-hush? - Show replies

@DaveVoyles Remove the handles to the file in VS then right click the content dir in VS choose add existing item, in the open file dialog... -
@MaximinusGames Oh yeah I knew that works just as well

@DaveVoyles dont click the Add button bu the arrow next to it and Add As Link, then you wont have to drag&drop after each change -
@MaximinusGames That could save me quite a bit of time. Thank you!
