Body positivity activists politicize their bodies for likes daily. They post, get trolled and then feel justified in politicizing their bodies and like they’re taking a stand. In reality all they’re doing is causing a cycle of like-addiction that messes with their mental health.

Like-addiction. It’s a thing, right? I’m just checking in cuz I’m older. How did this start?

I think it’s the result of whack post modern sociology mumbo jumbo at university level. I’ve seen friends become increasingly low in self esteem despite the ‘bravery’ and encouragement. Validation via likes is fleeting. So you always need your fix. Works like crack frankly.

“To vote against republicans” by saying this you are generalizing all republicans saying they feel the same way as trump, which is 100% wrong and very untrue. To fix this statement you could say “trump supporting republicans” instead.

This is why our society is so polarized today!! People under the label “republican” and “Democrats” are automatically assigned values and opinions before they even open their mouths.

...and this needs to stop! On both sides! People can still identify as a republican or Democrat but still have opinions that don’t align with that party. It creates such hatred between parties if this continues, start listening to people instead of automatically giving themvalues

If you don't agree with the party labels then don't associate with that party. But rather make statements such that you assert your own position as I do. I state that I am more liberal minded but conservative in my values and fiscal/government side. If that makes sense?

I dunno if they need votes, but they need a gym membership.
