Gun people: Gun laws won't work because criminals don't follow the law. Besides, I'm not a criminal, I'm a law-abiding citizen. Also gun people: If there were a law that I couldn't have this gun, I would not abide by the law and I would murder anyone who tried to enforce it.

Please explain in detail, which new laws would have prevented a 17 year old, who can't own, carry, or transport any firearm anywhere for any reason and would have prevented him from shooting at and maiming, wounding or killing anyone, which he was already prohibited from doing

1. Laws are what allow us as a society to punish him for his actions. No laws = shoot up a school and then go about your day. That would be nuts, right? 2. “Just see what happens” is a bit vague. What exactly will happen if someone tries to take your gun? Your “thousands will die” comment makes it sounds like you’re willing to commit a pretty large scale massacre. You’re a “law-abiding citizen” though, I’m sure, right?
