So few people understand that personas are only half a tool. Without scenarios, personas will just sit around & drink all your wine. But “scenarios” without personas lack the human motivation that guides good design decisions.
Great example of how changing vocabulary changes framing and perspective. Same concept, same goals, different label. (I get stuck on "archetype" as a rigid, generic personality model grounded in mythology a la Jung, but it's still a good word.) :)

As with everything there's a jerky way to do it and a few others. My client was reflective and a good leader and wanted to engage everyone so he led that reframe. Respeck!
