Ah! The "flawed god" paradox! Why would a perfect being intentionally make imperfect creatures? And can an imperfect being make perfect creatures?

Venturing into this: the first part seemed to assume that a being is involved in guiding our creation and evolution. I feel like we could make something that's better than us, but does that mean it's perfect? What is perfect? Is it even attainable?

Personally, I reject the first premise. I like the second question much more.
