Bought a vintage Jell-O cookbook for the kitsch value. Very funny, but kinda gross. Nuts belong in Jell-O like nuts belong in chewing gum.

Yes, it is, though I no longer eat Jell-O (it's not vegetarian.)

Oh, and FYI: pineapple contains an enzyme that inhibits the protein structures in gelatin, but if you cook the pineapple first, it denatures the enzyme. That's why canned pineapple (cooked) is always specific in the recipes, not fresh. ;)
