Maybe it’s just me but in your career, you either get to be an innovator (the wonder boy/girl inventor) or you scale stuff. The former is always more fun but rare to find.

I experience the same. Most of the time most people have not quite understood the nuances & possibilities of the invention. You spend a lot of time road showing and you have to fight for time & resource.

FWIW, I don't just want people to just do what I say. There is a basic VC belief to never use your own money: if you can't convince others, it's likely not a good idea. I agree with this, it's just hard
