Part of me wants 45 to just get tired of the job and says, "Fuck it, I'm out." The other part of me needs to see him tried and convicted.

Yeah, everyone deserves a fair trial. But also, his life and actions should serve as a cautionary tale to other would-be despots.

Doubt it. Too much money was made. Even if charged and tried, he'll be pardoned and richer than he was before. It will have been worth it.
