avoid remarketing (sorry)
What are the reasons you log out of accounts on web sites, apps, or devices? What is your goal, need, or end-state?

I'm curious if would be useful to change the label from "Log Out" to better reflect what people are actually trying to do...
-
thinking more, my log out use cases vary. banks=security. G mostly to avoid adding to interest graph
-
Yes, definitely multiple use cases and reasons - would need different labels for different use cases: privacy/security, access, tracking...

Such a great question... I only sign out of finance-related stuff, and it's because I want to require a password to make more changes
-
Basically "lock account" instead of "sign out"
-
Thanks. "Log out" is such a generic statement & it's anachronistic - "dev speak" from another era. People have learned it has MANY meanings

To not be distracted/tempted to check. Paranoia that I'm more vulnerable to attacks than when logged out. I always log out of my bank etc.
