it's also great for helping us understand relationships we cannot sense directly (size and time scales)
I've been saying for ~2 years that AR is the killer product, not VR. VR makes a big splash & plays well...

from an ENG perspective, VR is the harder problem than just adding a layer of info to the real world (AR)
