@DaveHogue @shoobe01 @jcolman Do any of you feel like you've found a legitimate use for VR to support decision making?
we just don't rely on songs and poems to record and pass on all of our human knowledge of the universe
-
-
ultimately - I'm trying to find the essence of what VR buys you, without costing you. To quantify and extract
-
what is your need here? what are you trying to do? This has been an esoteric discussion, what's the goal?
-
ultimately - way too many people falling in love with VR because gives good demo, without a need.
-
(ii) trying to identify some handles to investigate of what the brain loves about VR that it get such love...
-
AR extends our cognitive abilities, where VR just translates and transposes sensory abilities
-
- not to sound even more esoteric... but it seems like we need to extend AR into the VR space
-
so that you can experience the passage of time in space, yet compliment it with multi perspective views
