How does "fake it ’til you make it" work when dealing with creeping depression? Asking for a friend.

Thanks. It’s something I’ve dealt with before, but I should. Though I do find GTD and feeling accomplished helps a bit?

Are you using GTD to complete small, short-term tasks unrelated to the core issues behind the low mood? If yes, it may be a mask.

There is an interesting feedback cycle - sometimes good feelings and progress in unrelated areas can affect / improve overall mood.
