All these newcomers have no idea how much of what made San Francisco wonderful is now gone. And the sad thing is that they don't care.

@KristinHenry that's an economic issue, not one of soulless vacuousness, isn't it? Landlords charge too much to stay in business...

@DaveHogue Having been in SF for so long, with family roots going back to 1840s, I do understand change. But this is different. -
@KristinHenry so many locals say, "this is different" - is it because there is a sameness about what's arriving? No variety and spirit? -
