@davehogue My chromecast never worked well. Speaking of UX, Google customer service is so lame I never got around to replacing it. -
@shoobe01 How did it fail? My biggest problemsare wifi strength and detaching from the device that started the stream (losing controls.) -
@davehogue Forgets the network, so it's a "you have a new Chromecast" sort of experience every 45 minutes. -
@shoobe01 Well, that's crap. I have not had that experience at all. I wonder how it is "forgetting" so frequently... -
@davehogue Broken. Just too lazy to CALL THEM during business hours and blah, blah. Gave up pretty early in process.

@DaveHogue@shoobe01 I do the same thing. Forget on screen menus. I'd rather use my smartphone. -
@PeteyPablo623@shoobe01 taps/swipes on a phone are SO MUCH EASIER than up,up,up,right,right,right,right,OK ... repeat x 20 with a TV remote -
@davehogue No reason we cannot use remote touch, design 2D interfaces, etc. Many good tactics for remote device control@peteypablo623 -
@shoobe01@PeteyPablo623 And few of those good tactics seems to applied or applied effectively. Rush to market? -
@davehogue Some degree of lazy? Not sure. FYI, some big display thoughts WIP: http://4ourth.com/wiki/Large%20displays#RemoteControl …@peteypablo623pic.twitter.com/CHnJDC4gp0
