@DaveHogue @JustinSeeley @mordy They should have never killed Fireworks it was a great app.
@JustinSeeley @Vonster @mordy Too many features in PS for it to be a FW replacement; a replacement needs to be lean, fast, & web-centric

@davehogue@justinseeley@vonster the stress here is that people are looking to PS to be an all-in web tool. And it's not. FW was. -
@mordy@JustinSeeley@Vonster Right. FW didn't do photos, didn't do print, (didn't do SVG...), but it did vectors and bitmap optimization. -
@davehogue@justinseeley@vonster Haven't used it myself, but I hear a lot of people like using Sketch -
@mordy@JustinSeeley@Vonster When FW was retired, we switched to Sketch (a year or so later...), because it has the same level of web focus -
@davehogue@justinseeley@vonster How do you and your peers like Sketch? Has it replaced your use of PS and/or AI? -
@mordy@JustinSeeley@Vonster We still pull out the "old tools" for specific things: illustrations and photo touch-ups / processing. -
@davehogue@justinseeley@vonster As they say, jack of all trades, master at none. At some point, PS or AI just get too big -
@mordy@davehogue@justinseeley Too big to fAil....no wait.
