@DaveHogue Well, rarely use google, so asking. Seems horizontal rule below ads is barely visible, reducing visual distinction w/ results. -
@ddt probably lots of A|B or multivariate testing happening. -
@DaveHogue Sure. But goal should be to enhance informed user choice, not trick users into clicking ads because they can’t ID them. -

@ddt if revenue is the key, then qualified clicks are more important than just clicks. -
@DaveHogue Are ad rates set by a qualified click metric? Honest Q: used to be just CPM. How can that be determined not just post facto? -
@ddt I think ad rates are partially determined by demand - they buy less, pay less when the clicks are not as good. Market driven demand. - 2 more replies
