Hey @KristinHenry, if you had to replace a 2D matrix of data w/ a diff way to show 49 data points where a few are the focus, WWKD? :)
@KristinHenry Simple price points for two selected features (A-G and 1-7), must select one for each, some combos less expensive.

@DaveHogue how about using color to encode price -
@KristinHenry that works if we keep the matrix - I want to kill the matrix and present an interactive data array instead -
@DaveHogue what does your interactive data array look like? -
@KristinHenry it's currently a 7x7 matrix where only a subset of points are truly of interest - I want to show only the interesting points, -
@DaveHogue can make the grid with dots, darker dots = lower price, lighter dots = higher price so they are less noticeable. -
@KristinHenry yeah, in stuck in grids and matrices, too. It's very efficient, but comes with cognitive overhead and feels mathematical... :/ -
@DaveHogue how many feature choices does the user have? is it really just two? -
@KristinHenry yep, really just two. Simple yet challenging.#wickedproblem - 3 more replies
