@DaveHogue any word on the future of Fireworks, perhaps any suitable Adobe replacement in the works? I don't understand why they nixed it.
@2upmedia Several competitors quickly moved into the space held by FW - rumor that Adobe is thinking about whether a replacement is needed.

@DaveHogue so far I'm reading that even the best competitor like Sketch lacks key features from Fireworks. Sounds like Adobe gave up on it. -
@2upmedia (It does appear that FW has been abandoned - they apparently didn't see the need to compete with their own PS and AI...) -
@DaveHogue don't understand their rationalization. PS and Fireworks don't compete. Photoshop is great for photos. FW is great for UI. :/

@DaveHogue anything you've used that's just as good? I'm pretty much dependent on symbols and pages for re-use & easy exporting of assets. -
@2upmedia I haven't found an adequate replacement yet - still using FW while I wait. Many people now using many tools. :\#fragmented
