Dear #startups: This isn’t me, for once. "They don't teach people to think in MBA schools." - Elon Musk http://www.aps.org/publications/apsnews/201311/profiles.cfm …
@ddt I'm not sure we're teaching people to think in ANY schools right now... :\

@DaveHogue The rest of his quote: "it causes people to close down their feedback loop and not rigorously examine when they are wrong". -
@ddt that sounds about right. I you don't think critically, you can be happy in your ignorance (and obliviousness.) (oblivity?)

@DaveHogue It’s worth a read. I’ve seen a lot of MBAs taught "have an idea, you’re entitled to millions." Without testing against reality. -
@ddt I've had enough "ideas" that I should be a trillionaire. Who should I sue to get my share? -
@DaveHogue Yeah, I know. "Ideas are a dime a dozen; implementation is hard." But tell that to a#startup founder… . -
@ddt I think that the problem is that our VC system rewards the idea, not the value (or the effort to make it real.) -
@DaveHogue From people on both sides of Y Combinator, I’ve heard they reward "confidence". And VCs spend on thousands of teams (1/2)
