@DaveHogue header p is generic selection of all p's in header. header > p means specific p child of header. There's much more magic too.
What's the CSS selector format for when a tag follows one of either of two classes (e.g., .header OR .footer precedes <p>)?

@mustefaJ I find myself wanting to merge programming with CSS - I want variables and conditionals. I know just enough to be dangerous. :-) -
@DaveHogue check out sass. It merges programming with CSS, using variables and functions. ;) -
@mustefaJ Let me find the time for that. Oh, wait - that needs time? LOL -
@DaveHogue what is this thing you call time? If you find it, I'll buy a couple hour off ya. -
@mustefaJ Any time I find is not for sale. Unless you have BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars. :)

@DaveHogue if its really a header and footer you don't need to make them classes. Just use header and footer tags. Check the code on my siteThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
