How does Adobe Fireworks store vector information, pages, and layers in PNG format? http://stackoverflow.com/q/14571893/582312?stw=2 … @Stackoverflow #help
@JaredZimmerman You should talk to @fwextensions - the PNG format allows for embedded metadata, and that's what FW uses for editable PNGs

@DaveHogue@fwextensions cool, is there a write up somewhere? -
@JaredZimmerman@DaveHogue If you want to programmatically inspect a FW PNG, it's probably easiest to use the JS API to loop thru the elems. -
@fwextensions so no API or documentation, you’d have to reverse engineer it if you wanted to write your own vector pngs cc:@DaveHogue -
@JaredZimmerman@DaveHogue Yes, unless you want to automate the FW app itself to generate your PNGs: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/fireworks/cs/extend/index.html … -
@fwextensions@DaveHogue not quite but interesting info#thanks
