Basecamp just got a bit crappier, Itunes got a lot. Should designers be kept away from good software, so they don't get an urge to fiddle?
@cwodtke A lot (some fixes, some tweak, most are framed as incremental improvements.) Companies are reluctant to tinker w/ success (revenue)

@DaveHogue successful companies tinker a lot-- but it's tiny, and mensured. Designers often don't like AB testing. Though that is changing. -
@cwodtke Exactly, they "tinker" (tiny and measured) - our "BIG" redesigns & new features are much less often - these are the challenges -
@cwodtke Just speaking from experience. I think maybe it's different when it's YOUR product vs. a corporate thing with many stakeholders.
