What if self driving cars are this century's better buggy whip, and the real evolution in transport has yet to be invented?

Boop. More cars is not the answer, even if they are smarter than humans. BIG machines hauling around one little person at a time is not the answer.

hauling one person around is the easy part. It's the use cases like "hauling two people, a dog, and three bags of groceries" or "hauling a baby and all the baby stuff" where it gets trickier.

The future solution will come when we break away from the anchors and frames that keep us looking at variations of the car / bus / train / plane model. True, not everything is mass transport vs. personal transport. How else MIGHT we think about this problem?
