@DasSurma IIUC, the only scenario where the ‘as’ attribute is omitted is when the XHR/Fetch APIs are used; everything else causes double DL
TIL: When preloading <script>, you _need_ to provide as="script" on your <link rel="preload"> or you'll fetch twice.
