Looking at the voter drop off from 2008 to 2012, is there a reason beside fandom that Obama is being used for GOTV?

You can’t compare Romney to Trump.
My point is the drop off in voting from 08 to 12 isn’t a comparison of the opposition but rather people becoming less enthralled with Obama as a whole. I don’t he’s the turnout machine for non dems that the party makes him out to be.
