That's the thing. It costs exactly nothing. You need a new car you buy one with batteries or H2 or plasma drive, whatever. Then if somebody needs a used car the best deals will be on EVs. It's a problem that takes care of itself just like switch from horses.

I love this analogy. I immediately thought of the follow turn of the century adverts: With new CAR you will no longer need to put up with horse farts, feeding & re-shoeing! For Sale: one used horse. Consumes biodegradable fuel, limited emissions, no expensive tires!
