      They don’t even fall under the ACA because of their designation regardless of how many hours we worked. They get around it by saying they’re a tech company that builds software not a delivery company. If we just had a sustainable job market this wouldn’t be an issue.

      Like yea it would be lit if I could do that for all my employees and not have to pay any taxes on them either but that’s how we pay for unemployment etc...

      Yea I mean that’s the whole thing is that if we had a sustainable job market and it was actually “supplemental” I could get behind it. The only reason we even use that excuse is because it’s how Lyft and Uber framed it from the beginning.

      To me this is just different way of framing that you shouldn’t be able to live off of minimum wage, which was in fact it’s intention.

      O I know, I’m saying it’s just another symptom of boomers screwing us. Coulda just tied it to growth and we would be in a completely different situation. Change is coming...I think.

          The polling of drivers had it supported by almost 80%. Lyft and Uber have dropped $200 million on it so it’s def gunna be a battle.
