Real talk. Game guides were probably what I read most as a kid and I think there is some value to applying what you read. When you think of an 8 year old reading instructions then being able to apply them to a game like Zelda, there has to be SOME value.
And playing Counter Strike is how I originally learned to code. Video games have had the exact opposite impact on my life that everyone was worried about growing up. Completely off topic rant over.
